Another favorite group of mine. I gotten into them last year, enjoying Vulgar Display Of Power. I cannot help but wonder how the earlier albums sound before Cowboys.
I heard the glam albums were pretty fucking bad, tbh.
But meh. Cowboys through Far Beyond Driven (haven't heard Southern Trendkill yet) is fucking fantastic.
Should get all the rest of their groove metal stuff too. So far just got Vulgar Display of Power that Butt recommended to me as the best album for getting out some RAGERAGERAGE!

I have Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, and Far Beyond Driven. All are fantastic, but I think VDoP is my favorite.
I've heard the glam stuff, and it sucks. Even by glam metal standards.
Southern Trendkill is very cool. You guys need to pick it up.
I think, of all Pantera albums, Southern Trendkill sat the best with me.
Moved thread since their only relevant albums are the thrash/groove ones.
Hopefully this stimulates discussion.

Plus, you didn't answer why exactly you don't like Pantera. I understand you don't like them, but why? Is it Phil? It can't be because you hate groove metal, seeing as how you like Lamb of God.

It is Phil his vocals are annoying also they are just a boring and an over fellated band.
Strange. Phil is one of my favorite clean vocalists.
